Zivalgo is an insecticde suspension concentrate used to control various pests including thrips, leaf bugs, lacepodous pests, and other insects in specific crop groups such as Citrus, Tree Fruit, Stone Fruit, Nut, and Tubercular/Corn vegetables. The active ingredient is isocycloseram at 54.8%. It works by binding to a site on the GABA receptor, which blocks inhibitory neurotransmission, leading to the death of target insects. This product is intended for use on various crops as specified in the detailed application sections. When handling, users must wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and shoes. If pesticide gets on clothing, it should be washed thoroughly before reuse. Users should also wash hands immediately after handling. This product is highly toxic to bees and may have potential impacts on pollinators; therefore, users should follow Best Management Practices (BMPs) to minimize drift and protect pollinator habitats. It is also moderately toxic to aquatic invertebrates and should be used with caution near water to prevent runoff and environmental impact.
