Switch 62.5WG is a broad-spectrum fungicide used for the control of certain diseases. It contains two active ingredients: Cyprodinil (37.5%) and Fludioxonil (25.0%). It is formulated as a water-dispersible granule. This product is specifically noted for use as a plant dip to strawberry roots and crowns, as well as for workers packaging or preparing treated roots and crowns. Handling requires specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including chemical-resistant aprons, long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and chemical-resistant gloves (nitrile, butyl rubber, or Viton). Mixers and loaders must use a NIOSH-approved air-purifying respirator with an N, R, or P filter. The product is toxic to fish, aquatic invertebrates, oysters, and shrimp; do not apply directly to water or areas where surface water is present. It has a high potential for runoff, so avoid applications when soil is saturated or significant rainfall is forecast. There is a restricted-entry interval (REI) of 12 hours. Rotational crop restrictions apply: do not plant crops not registered for use with cyprodinil or fludioxonil for 30 days, unless a shorter interval is specified for certain crop groups.
