Minecto Pro is a restricted-use insecticide formulated as a suspension concentrate. It contains two active ingredients: Cyantraniliprole (28%) and Abamectin (2.68%). This product is designed to control a broad spectrum of insects and mites across a wide variety of crops, including various vegetables, fruits, nuts, and legumes. It works through multiple modes of action, including neurotoxin activity, to provide effective pest suppression. Because it is a restricted-use pesticide, it must only be applied by certified applicators or those under their direct supervision. Handling requires specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, shoes and socks, and chemical-resistant gloves (barrier nitrile, nitrile, neoprene, or polyvinyl chloride). Users should be aware of environmental hazards, as the product is toxic to fish, mammals, and aquatic organisms, and may impact surface water or groundwater. Special care must be taken to protect pollinators; do not apply while bees are foraging or when crops are in bloom unless specific conditions are met. Always follow the specific crop directions and application methods outlined in the label to ensure efficacy and safety.
