Fusilade DX Herbicide is a postemergence herbicide used for the control of perennial and annual grass weeds. The active ingredient is Fluazifop-p-butyl at a concentration of 24.5%. It is formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) and is typically applied to various crops including soybeans, cotton, corn, and various vegetables, though specific restrictions apply to certain crops and locations. This product is systemic, meaning it moves from the treated foliage into the roots, rhizomes, stolons, and growing points of the weeds. When used, it can cause moderate skin irritation and is harmful if absorbed through the skin. Users must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, chemical-resistant gloves (nitrile, neoprene, or Viton), and shoes plus socks. It is important to avoid spray drift, especially toward water bodies or non-target plants, as it can be hazardous to aquatic organisms. • Sale, use, and distribution prohibited in Nassau and Suffolk Counties in the State of New York.
• Do not apply to plants in aquatic vegetation.
• Do not apply where runoff into water bodies is expected.
• Do not apply to certain crops like Asparagus, Beans, or Citrus without following specific directions.
