Fortenza is a seed treatment insecticide containing 48.8% cyantraniliprole. It is designed to provide early-season protection against damage caused by various pests, including cutworms, grubs, wireworms, fall armyworm, and corn silkworm maggots in corn, as well as bean leaf beetles, soybean gall midge, thrips, grubs, and wireworms in soybeans. It also provides protection for rice water weevils and suppresses coleopteran pests on rice. The product is applied as a water-based slurry during seed treatment. It is important to note that Fortenza is prohibited for sale, use, or distribution in Nassau and Suffolk Counties in the State of New York. When handling, users must wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, chemical-resistant gloves (barrier laminate, butyl, nitrile, neoprene, or Viton), and plus socks. Always follow Worker Protection Standard (WPS) requirements and ensure proper mixing and application equipment is used to maintain uniform coverage.
