Aprovia is a broad-spectrum fungicide manufactured by Syngenta, used for the control of many important plant diseases. The active ingredient is Benzovindiflupyr (9.63%), formulated as an Emertible Concentrate (EC) containing 0.63 lb of benzovindiflupyr per gallon. It is primarily applied as a foliar spray and can be used in block, alternating spray, or tank-mix programs with other crop protection products. This product is suitable for various crops, including blueberries, grapes, small fruit vine climbing crops (subgroup 13-07F, except fuzzy kiwi fruit), and Pome Fruit Group 11-10. Application methods include ground and aerial sprays, as well as chemigation. When using this product, handlers must wear specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including protective eyewear (goggles, face shield, or safety glasses), coveralls worn over short-sleeved shirts and short pants, chemical-resistant footwear plus socks, and chemical-resistant gloves (butyl rubber or nitrile rubber). A chemical-resistant apron is required when cleaning, mixing, or loading. Users should be aware of environmental hazards; do not apply directly to water or areas where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. To prevent runoff, maintain a 15-foot vegetated buffer strip between treated areas and surface water features like ponds or streams. Always follow the Worker Protection Standard (WPS) and observe the 12-hour restricted-entry interval (REI) after application.
