Apron Maxx RTA is a seed treatment fungicide designed for the control of certain seed-borne, soil-borne, and seedling diseases in soybeans and other legumes. It contains two active ingredients: Mefenoxam (1.10%) and Fludioxonil (0.73%). It is effective against pathogens including Fusarium, Rhizoctonia spp., Pythium spp., Phytophthora spp., and seed-borne Sclerotinia and Phomopsis spp. The product is formulated for on-farm treatment using standard mechanical slurry or miss-type seed treatment equipment. It is applied as a water-based slurry to the seed. Users should note that Mefenoxam is known to leach through soil into groundwater under certain conditions, particularly in permeable soils with shallow water tables. When handling, wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and chemical-resistant gloves made of barrier laminate, butyl rubber (≥14 mils), natural rubber (≥14 mils), neoprene rubber (≥14 mils), nitrile rubber (≥14 mils), polymethylene, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) (≥14 mils), or Viton® (≥14 mils). Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwater or rinsate, as the product is toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates.
