Agri-Flex® Miticide/Insecticide is a suspension concentrate formulated to control various pests. It contains two active ingredients: Abamectin (3.0%) and Thiamethoxam (13.9%). This product is classified as a Restricted Use Pesticide due to its toxicity to non-target invertebrates, mammals, and aquatic organisms. It is highly toxic to bees and other insect pollinators; users must follow specific application restrictions to protect them, such as minimizing exposure during foraging and avoiding drift onto pollinator-attractive habitats. Environmental precautions are necessary to prevent runoff into surface waters and to protect groundwater, especially in areas with permeable soils or shallow water tables. When handling, applicators must wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, chemical-resistant gloves (barrier laminate, butyl rubber ≥ 14 mils, nitrile rubber ≥ 14 mils, or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) ≥ 14 mils, or Viton® ≥ 14 mils), and a windproof/waterproof apron if necessary. Always wash hands before eating, drinking, or using tobacco, and remove contaminated clothing immediately. This product is prohibited for sale, use, or distribution in Nassau and Suffolk Counties in the State of New York.
