Lawn Weed Killer with TRIMEC is a water-based broadleaf herbicide designed for use on most ornamental lawns, including Kentucky Bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, fescues, bermudagrass, bahia-grass, bentgrass, buffalograss, and zoysiagrass. It is specifically formulated to control a wide variety of broadleaf weeds such as dandelions, chickweed, knotweed, plantain, henbit, spurge, clover, and many others. The product contains three active ingredients: Mecoprop-p (5.30%), 2,4-D (3.05%), and Dicamba (1.29%). It can be applied via tank sprayer or specific hose-end sprayers for both spot treatments and broadcast applications. When spot treating, users should avoid applying as a fine mist to prevent injury to desirable plants and must not apply near water, storm drains, or gutters. For broadcast applications, follow specific dilution rates based on the grass type and sprayer type used. Always wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, socks, shoes, and rubber gloves during handling. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not allow people or pets into the treated area until sprays have dried.
