It is effective against filamentous algae (thick-walled string algae), misculaginous planktonic algae (colonial), Chara/Nitella, and various submerged plants like Elodea canadensis, Hydrilla verticillata, and Potamogeton spp. It can also be used to control duckweed. The product is intended for use in crop and non-crop irrigation conveyance systems, potable water reservoirs, lakes, farms, fish ponds, golf courses, industrial irrigation, stormwater detention, and wastewater ponds. It is applied via surface spray or injection.
