Happy Jack DD-33 Flea & Tick Spray is a topical pesticide designed specifically for use on dogs and cats to kill fleas and ticks. The active ingredients include Pyrethrins (0.112%) and Permethrin (0.101%). This product is intended for external use only and should be applied by spraying the animal at a distance of 8 to 12 inches, ensuring the entire body, including legs and underbelly, is covered. For cats, the application rate is 1 second per pound of body weight. For dogs, the rate is 2 seconds per pound for thin/short-haired dogs and up to 8 seconds per pound for heavy/long-haired dogs. The spray provides up to 14 days of flea control and 9 days of tick control on dogs and cats. Handling precautions include wearing chemical resistant gloves, as the product can cause moderate eye irritation and skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. It is combustible and should be kept away from heat or open flames. Do not use on puppies or kittens under 12 weeks of age, and consult a veterinarian before use on debilitated, aged, medicated, pregnant, or nursing animals. The product is toxic to fish and other aquatic animals; avoid contact with drains, ditches, gutters, or surface waters.
