Talon Weatherblok XT is a rodenticide designed to kill warfarin-resistant Norway rats and house mice. The active ingredient is brodifacoum at a concentration of 0.005%. It is formulated as 20-gram (0.7 ounce) blocks. This product is intended for outdoor use in tamper-resistant bait stations to protect children, pets, non-target mammals, and birds. For Norway rats, apply 2-5 blocks per placement at intervals of 15-30 feet. For house mice, apply 1 bait block per placement at intervals of 8-12 feet. It is critical to maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for 10 days or until signs of rodent activity cease. Always use tamper-resistant bait stations when used in residential structures or near children and pets. If re-infestation occurs, limit food, water, and harborage to prevent further issues. Always follow all safety precautions, including the use of appropriate PPE, and dispose of dead animals and used bait according to the label instructions.
