CSI 30-30 is a specially formulated, low-odor, non-corrosive insecticide designed for the quick knockdown of adult mosquitoes, biting and non-biting midges, and black flies. It utilizes a synergized synthetic pyrethroid formulation containing 30% Permethrin and 30% Piperonyl Butoxide. This product is intended for use by federal, state, tribal, or local governmental officials responsible for public health or vector control, or by certified applicators authorized to perform adult mosquito control applications. It can be applied in residential, recreational, and other areas using various methods, including Ultra Low Volume (ULV) non-thermal aerosol fogging, thermal aerosol fogging, and ground applications. When used for ground applications, it can be applied to various sites including lawns, ornamental plants, and certain crops. Handling requires specific personal protective equipment (PPE), including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, shoes plus socks, and chemical-resistant gloves such as barrier laminate, nitrile, neoprene, vinyl, or selection category E. Users must also follow strict hygiene practices, such as washing hands before eating or smoking and removing contaminated clothing immediately. The product contains a petroleum distillate solvent and must be handled with caution to avoid environmental hazards to aquatic organisms.
