3-Way Max is a selective broadleaf herbicide designed for use on turfgrasses, including ornamental lawns (residential, industrial, institutional), parks, cemeteries, athletic fields, golf courses, and sod farms. It also controls weeds in non-turf areas like highways, rights-of-way, and roadsides. The active ingredients are Trisopropanolamine Salt of 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid (47.33%), Dimethylamine Salt of (+)-R-2-(2-Methyl-4-Chlorophenoxy)propionic Acid (8.17%), and Dicamba 3,6-Dichloro-o-anisic Acid (2.30%). It effectively controls a wide variety of broadleaf weeds including dandelion, clover, henbit, plantain, wild onion, and many others. When applying to St. Augustine grass or Centipedegrass, use reduced rates if the grass is stressed by heat or drought. For turf, the maximum number of broadcast applications per treatment site is 2 per year. Handling requires significant care: the product is corrosive and can cause irreversible eye damage. Always use personal protective equipment (PPE) including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, shoes and socks, goggles or face shield, chemical-resistant gloves, and a chemical-resistant apron when mixing, loading, or cleaning equipment. Do not apply via irrigation systems or by air, and avoid application during temperature inversions or wind speeds exceeding 10 mph to prevent drift.
