Strike 3 is a Group 4 herbicide designed for selective broadleaf weed control in turfgrasses, including use on sod farms, highways, rights-of-way, and other non-crop areas. The active ingredients are Dimethylamine salt of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (30.56%), Dimethylamine salt of (+)-R-2-(2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxy) propionic acid (8.17%), and Dimethylamine salt of dicamba (2,77%). It is effective against a wide range of weeds including dandelion, clover, henbit, plantains, wild onion, and many others. For ornamental lawns and turf, application rates vary based on the specific grass type and whether the grass is dormant or actively growing. For non-crop areas, it can be used for broadleaf weeds or woody brush. Handling requires significant care: the product is corrosive and can cause irreversible eye damage and is harmful if swallowed. Always use appropriate PPE, including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, shoes, socks, chemical-resistant gloves, and eye protection. Avoid application during temperature inversions, high winds (over 10 mph), or when temperatures exceed 90 degrees for turf. Do not apply through irrigation systems or via aerial application. Be mindful of drift to sensitive plants like tomatoes, beans, or grapes.
