DES-X is an insecticidal soap concentrate containing 4.07 lb of Potassium Salts of Fatty Acids per gallon. It acts as a contact killer for various insect and mite pests, including aphids, mealybugs, whiteflies, scale insects, spider mites, and tent caterpillars. It is effective against adult, larval, and nymph stages. This product is OMRI listed for organic production and can be used up to the day of harvest on edible crops. It is suitable for use in greenhouses and on various crops including fruits, vegetables, ornamentals, and herbs. When applying, ensure thorough coverage of all plant parts, including the undersides of leaves. Note that it should not be used on certain sensitive plants (like grapes or certain ornamentals) under specific conditions, and it is incompatible with sulfur or products applied within 3 days of sulfur application. Always test for plant sensitivity before widespread use.
