Bicep II Magnum FC is a restricted-use herbicide formulated as a suspension concentrate (SC) for weed control in corn, grain, and forage sorghum. It contains two active ingredients: Atrazine (33.0%) and S-metolachlor (26.1%). This product is effective for preplant, preemergence, or postemergence control of many annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in corn. It can also be used before crop emergence to control most annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in grain or forage sorghum, provided the sorghum seed has been properly treated with Concept. Because of ground and surface water concerns, this product is a Restricted Use Pesticide. It is toxic to aquatic invertebrates and can leach into groundwater or run off into surface water. Users must follow specific directions to minimize environmental impact, such as avoiding application near water bodies and following specific rules for tile-outletted terraced fields. Handling requires specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including chemical-resistant gloves, footwear, and protective clothing, depending on whether engineering controls like enclosed cockpits are used.

PPE required Mixers, loaders, applicators, flaggers, and other handlers not using engineering controls must wear: Coveralls over short-sleeved shirt and short pants; Chemical-resistant gloves; Chemical-resistant footwear plus socks; Chemical-resistant headgear for overhead exposure; Chemical-resistant apron when cleaning equipment, mixing and loading, or exposed to the concentrate. If using engineering controls (enclosed cockpit), pilots must wear PPE consistent with WPS; flaggers and loaders must use enclosed cabs meeting WPS requirements.

Avoid application if rainfall is forecast to occur within 48 hours.
