Armezon PRO is an emulsifiable concentrate herbicide used for weed control in various corn types, including field, seed, sweet, and popcorn. It contains two active ingredients: topramezone (1.12%) and dimethenamid-P (56.25%). The product works by controlling broadleaf weeds and certain grasses by targeting both preemergence and postemergence growth. It is effective against a wide spectrum of weeds, including many that are resistant to other herbicides like ALS, glyphosate, and triazine. For best performance, nozzles should produce coarse to coarse-dry droplets, and application should ideally occur during periods of optimal temperature and moisture. When applying, users must follow specific safety protocols to prevent groundwater contamination and protect non-target plants. Handling requires specific personal protective equipment (PPE) including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, waterproof gloves, and chemical-resistant footwear. It is critical to avoid application near water sources or areas with shallow water tables to prevent environmental runoff.
