Advantigro is a plant growth regulator and biostimulant designed to improve seed germination, promote early plant emergence in cool conditions, and enhance root growth and seedling development. It contains three active ingredients: Cytokinin (as kinetin) at 0.009%, Indole Butytic Acid at 0.005%, and Gibberellic Acid (A3) at 0.005%. This product is intended for use on a wide variety of crops, including field crops (such as corn, alfalfa, and peanuts), vegetable crops (such as beans, tomatoes, and peppers), sod, turf, and ornamentals. It can be applied via in-furrow, banded, or broadcast/foliar methods depending on the specific crop and growth stage. For field and vegetable crops, application rates vary significantly by method; for example, broadcast applications often range from 3 to 16 fl. oz./acre. When used in turf, it can be applied at 2 fl. oz./5000 sq. ft. to assist with root growth. Users should be aware that Advantigro is not a fertilizer and should be used in combination with a good fertilizer program. Handling requires specific PPE, including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and shoe socks. It is critical to follow all engineering controls and worker protection standards, especially when using closed systems or chemigation. Do not apply directly to water or in areas where runoff is likely to occur.
