Alligare 2,4-D LV 6 is a selective herbicide containing 68.4% 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid, 2-Ethylhexyl Ester. It is designed to control a wide variety of broadleaf weeds and brush in various agricultural crops including corn, small grains, and soybeans (preplant), as well as in non-crop areas such as pastures, rangelands, fencerows, lawns, and rights-of-way. The product is effective against many common weeds like clover, dandelion, and various grasses depending on the application site. For corn and small grains, it can be used as a pre-plant, early post-emergent, or late post-emergent treatment. When used in soybeans, it is applied preplant. Handling requires specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, shoes, socks, chemical-resistant gloves, and chemical-resistant aprons if mixing/loading. Eye protection is required. Users should avoid application during high wind or when temperature inversions exist.
