SaniDate 5.0 is used to control bacteria and non-public health microorganisms that cause decay and spoilage. It is applied through fogging on indoor hard, non-porous surfaces, as a foam treatment on vertical and irregular surfaces, or as a liquid for treating drinking water, watering lines, membranes, filters, and food processing equipment. When used on food contact surfaces, it should be followed by a potable water rinse before re-use.

All surfaces must be thoroughly pre-cleaned prior to fogging. Food products and food packaging materials must be removed or covered with waterproof coverings. Vacate all personnel from the room during fogging and for a minimum of 1 hour after fogging. Ventilate buildings, coops, and other closed spaces for minimum of one hour. Allow surfaces to drain thoroughly before operations are resumed. Any food contact surfaces must be rinsed with potable water prior to re-use.
Foaming Applications: Apply SaniDate 5.0 as a foam treatment for the non-pesticidal purpose of cleaning hard, non–porous surfaces, and to enhance contact on hard, non-porous surfaces, vertical surfaces and irregular surfaces such as metal grating and structural steel where contact is difficult to maintain with coarse spray treatments. Add a foaming agent to the spray tank that contains the diluted SaniDate 5.0 solution. Apply foam until the surface treated is completely covered. Allow foam treated surface to air dry. Any food contact surfaces must be rinsed with potable water prior to re-use.
