Turficide 10G is a Group 14 fungicide containing 10.0% Pentachloronitrobenzene (PCNB) by weight. It is designed for the prevention and control of various soil-borne diseases in non-residential turf (such as golf course tees, greens, fairways, sod farms, industrial parks, and professional/college athletic fields) and non-residential ornamentals (greenhouses, nurseries, and landscape plants). It targets diseases including Brown Patch, Leaf Spot/Melting Out, Dollar Spot, Gray Snow Mold, Pink Snow Mold, and various root/stem rots. Application is via granular broadcast or band application, often requiring irrigation with 1/4 inch of water following application to move the product into the soil/thatch layer. Handling requires specific PPE: long-sleeved shirts, long pants, chemical-resistant gloves made of waterproof material, and shoe socks. Users must avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. The product is toxic to fish and aquatic organisms; do not contaminate water supplies.
