Krovar DF Crop is a herbicide containing 40% Bromacil and 40% Diuron, formulated as dispersible granules. It is primarily used for the selective control of various annual and perennial weeds in citrus crops. The product is applied as a band or broadcast treatment using a properly calibrated fixed-boom power sprayer. For best results, it should be applied to bare ground when moisture is available (rainfall or irrigation) to ensure the herbicide reaches the root zone of weeds. The label notes that weed control symptoms may be slow to appear. Users must follow specific restrictions regarding citrus varieties, soil types, and irrigation methods to avoid injury to desirable trees. Handling requires specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and shoes plus socks. Do not graze cattle in treated areas.
Do not use in home fruit plantings nor in orchards interplanted to other trees or plants.
In Florida, use is prohibited for weed control in non-bedded citrus groves on permeable, better drained soils.
Do not use on soils with less than 1% organic matter.
Do not use on poorly drained, gravelly soils or thinly covered/exposed sub-soils.
