IMPACTZ is a restricted-use herbicide designed for the selective control and suppression of emerged broadleaf and grass weeds in field corn, seed corn, popcorn, and sweet corn. It contains two active ingredients: Atrazine (42.60%) and Topramezone (2.85%). The product works by inhibiting both carothenoid biosynthesis and photosynthesis II. It is applied to emerged weeds within various corn crop types. Note that this product is highly sensitive to environmental factors; it is toxic to aquatic invertebrates and should not be applied near water or in areas where surface water is present. Use caution regarding runoff, especially after rain. When handling, wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, chemical-resistant gloves (Barrier Laminate, Butyl Rubber ≥ 14 mils, Nitrile Rubber ≥ 14 mils, Neoprene Rubber ≥ 14 mils, Natural Rubber ≥ 14 mils, Polyethylene, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) ≥ 14 mils, or Viton® ≥ 14 mils), and shoes socks. Avoid application if heavy rain is forecasted to prevent surface water contamination. This product is restricted to use by Certified Applicators or those under their direct supervision.
