← Back to DIBROM CONCENTRATE product overview
DIBROM CONCENTRATE is a restricted-use insecticide designed for the control of mosquitoes, flies, and other nuisance insects. The active ingredient is Naled (1,2-dichloro-2,2-dimethylethyl dimethyl phosphate) at a concentration of 87.4%. This product is intended for use by certified applicators or government officials responsible for public health or vector control. It can be applied via aerial application (fixed-wing or rotary aircraft) or through tank mixes. When used aerially, fixed-wing aircraft should fly at a minimum height of 100 feet, while rotary aircraft should fly at a minimum height of 75 feet. The product must be applied using a closed system to prevent contact with handlers. It is highly toxic to fish, aquatic invertebrates, and wildlife; avoid application near water bodies unless specifically permitted. Users must follow strict engineering controls and wear specific personal protective equipment, including chemical-resistant gloves, long sleeves, long pants, socks, shoes, and eye protection. Because it contains organophosphate, it is a cholinesterase inhibitor; monitoring of blood cholinesterase activity is recommended for those handling the product. This product cannot be diluted with water.
