AZTEC SmartBox® 4.67G is a restricted-use pesticide designed for use in a SmartBox® Closed Loading System. It is formulated for application in field corn, seed corn, sweet corn, and popcorn to control corn rootworm larvae, cutworms, wireworms, seedcorn maggots, seedcorn beetles, and white grubs. The active ingredients are Tebupirimfos (4.45%) and Cyfluthrin (0.22%). This product is intended for use by certified applicators under direct supervision. Because of its toxicity to aquatic invertebrates, it must be handled with care to avoid contamination of water sources. The label specifies that the product should be applied via the SmartBox® system to minimize exposure. Handling requires specific personal protective equipment (PPE), including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, chemical-resistant gloves (such as Barrier Laminate, Butyl Rubber, Nitrile, Neoprene, or Viton), and protective eyewear. In case of accidental spill or leak, specific decontamination and cleanup procedures must be followed to prevent environmental impact.
