AbbA Ultra is a restricted-use insecticide containing the active ingredient Abamectin (Group 6). This product is specifically a FIFRA 24(c) Special Local Need Label (SLN) intended for use on alfalfa grown for seed to control spider mites. It is designed for use within the state of Washington. Application can be performed via ground or aerial methods. When applying via ground, use 4-8 fl oz per acre in a minimum of 20 gallons of water. For aerial applications, use 6-8 fl oz per acre in a minimum of 10 gallons of water per acre. Users must adhere to a restricted-entry interval (REI) of 12 hours. This product is highly toxic to fish, mammals, and aquatic organisms. It is critical to avoid application through irrigation systems and to prevent drift onto blooming crops or weeds. Do not apply within 21 days of a last treatment or if an alternative miticide with a different mode of action has been used. Users must follow all Worker Protection Standard requirements and ensure the EPA-registered label is present during application. Note that this specific SLN registration expires after December 31, 2027.
