Signs

for Smokybrown Cockroach

The usual evidence is the roaches themselves, spotted after dark since they are night-active, along with dark fecal specks and smears and shed egg cases in attics, soffits, and around the foundation. Because first-instar nymphs barely move after hatching, finding several together points to a hatch close by.
