Crymax is a water dispersible granule bioinsecticide designed for the control of lepidopteran pests. Its active ingredient is Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies kurstaki strain EG7841 solids, spores, and lepidopteran active toxins at 40.0%. It is used on a wide variety of crops including field crops (corn, cotton, soybeans, etc.), fruit, nut, and vine crops (citrus, grapes, almonds, etc.), herbs, and vegetables. For best results, apply when larvae are small (early instars <1/2 inch) and actively feeding. The product can be applied via ground or aerial methods. When using hand-held equipment, mix 2 teaspoons per gallon of water or 1-1/2 pounds per 100 gallons of spray solution. Note that repeated exposure to high concentrations of microbial proteins may cause allergic sensitization. Always follow Worker Protection Standard requirements and use appropriate PPE, including long sleeves, long pants, waterproof gloves, and a dust/mist-filtering respirator if necessary.
