Sequence Herbicide is a foliar systemic herbicide used for the control of a broad spectrum of actively growing emerged weeds. It contains two active ingredients: Glyphosate (21.8%) and S-metolachlor (29.0%). It is designed for use on various crops including corn, cotton, legume vegetables (both succulent and dried), peanuts, potatoes, sorghum, soybeans, sugar beet (glyphosate-resistant varieties), sunflowers, and tomatoes. The product provides residual weed control and can be applied as a preplant, preemergence, or postemergence treatment depending on the specific crop and weed target. For technicians, note that this product is formulated as an emulsion in water (EW). It is critical to avoid contact with certain metals; do not store or mix in uncoated steel, aluminum, or galvanized steel containers, as the product may react to produce hydrogen gas, which is flammable and explosive. Always follow specific PPE requirements, including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, chemical-resistant gloves (barrier laminate, nitrile, neoprene, or Viton), and shoes plus socks. Ensure proper drift management to protect non-target organisms and sensitive areas.
