Shot-Gun Hot Pepper Wax Animal Repellent is a ready-to-use (RTU) product designed to repel deer, rabbits, and tree squirrels. The active ingredient is capsaicin and other capsaicinoids at a concentration of 0.00001125%. It is formulated for use on a variety of plants, including fruits, vegetables, citrus, ornamentals, and grasses. The product is applied by shaking well and spraying onto foliage or surfaces. It is effective for protecting vegetation from browsing or chewing by target animals. When used as directed, it can be applied to repel animals from chewing wood structures and fences. Because it is a wax-based concentrate, it is intended to provide a barrier on the plant surface. Users should follow precautionary statements regarding eye contact and environmental hazards, such as avoiding runoff into aquatic organisms. Always keep the product out of reach of children.
