Surepyc IQ is a selective herbicide designed for use on established, warm-season turfgrasses. It contains two active ingredients: imazaquin (16.0%) and sulfentrazone (8.0%). This product is specifically formulated to control Kyllinga, nutsedge, and other listed weeds such as dandelion, dollarweed, henbit, lawn burweed, spurge, wild garlic, wild onion, and yellow woodsorrel. It is intended for use on residential, institutional, and commercial turfgrasses, including Bermudagrass, Centipedegrass, St. Augustinegrass, and Zoysiagrass. The product is a soluble liquid formulation that can be applied via spray. For optimal control, it is recommended to apply when weeds are actively growing. Users should be aware that sequential applications can increase control of Kyllinga and nutsedge while enhancing turfgrass tolerance. Handling requires specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, protective eyewear, chemical-resistant gloves, and shoes plus socks. Avoid application during periods of slow turfgrass growth or when turf is under stress. Do not apply directly to water or areas where surface water is present. Always follow specific mixing instructions, especially when combining with fertilizers, to ensure compatibility and effectiveness.
