Aprovia Ace is a broad-spectrum fungicide used for the control of many important plant diseases on various crops. It contains two active ingredients: propiconazole (12.97%) and benzovindiflupyr (7.24%). This product is an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation and is applied as a foliar spray. It is designed to be used in both ground and aerial applications, though specific instructions apply to each. The product is highly effective but requires careful handling due to its corrosive nature; it can cause irreversible eye damage and is harmful if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin. Technicians must wear protective eyewear (goggles, face shield, or safety glasses), long-sleeved shirts, long pants, shoes plus socks, and chemical-resistant gloves (such as butyl rubber, nitrile, neoprene, natural rubber, or polyvinyl chloride). Users should follow integrated pest management (IPM) practices and rotate with fungicides from different groups to prevent resistance. Note that this product is toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates; avoid application near aquatic areas unless specific buffer zones are maintained.
