Amber is a Group 2 herbicide formulated as a water-dispersible granule. Its active ingredient is Triasulfuron at a concentration of 75.0%. This product is a selective herbicide designed for the control of weeds in wheat (including durum wheat), barley, pastures, rangeland, and Conservation Reserve Program acres. It works by inhibiting the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme, which prevents the plant from producing essential amino acids. Visible effects of control, such as leaves turning yellow or red, may not be observed until 1-3 weeks after application, depending on weed species and environmental conditions. Thorough coverage is required for effective weed control. When handling, avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing, and avoid breathing spray mist. This product has a high potential for reaching surface water via runoff; avoid application near water, intertidal areas, or where surface water is present. Always follow the Worker Protection Standard (WPS) for agricultural pesticides.
