Cutless 0.33G is a systemic plant growth regulator designed for the shoot growth suppression and quality enhancement of perennial landscape and container grown ornamental plants. The active ingredient is flurpirimod at a concentration of 0.33%. It works by suppressing gibberellic acid biosynthesis, resulting in reduced internode elongation in terminal shoots. This leads to more compact growth habits, darker green foliage, and improved water use efficiency. It is used on both perennial non-woody ground covers/herbaceous ornamentals and perennial woody ground covers/shrubs/hedges. For established landscapes, it can be applied via rotary-type, gravity-fed, or airflowsdriven spreaders. For container plants, it is applied topically to individual pots. Users should moderate watering after application to move the active ingredient into the root zone. Key restrictions include: do not use on plants grown for human consumption (fruits, nuts, etc.), do not apply to annual bedding plants, and do not apply via aerial application. Total annual application rates must not exceed 3.0 lbs of active ingredient per acre. Handling requires personal protective equipment including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, shoes plus socks, and chemical-resistant gloves. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. If applied, avoid application when weather or irrigation conditions favor movement of granules from the target area.
