Purge III Insecticide is an aerosol product designed for indoor use only. It contains two active ingredients: Pyrethrins (0.975%) and N-octyl bicyclothepane dicarboximide (3.050%). This product is formulated to kill flies, mosquitoes, and small flying moths, including the Culex species which may carry the West Nile virus. The 7.3 oz can is designed to dispense for 30 days when used according to label directions. It is intended for use in residential areas, though it should not be used in rooms or areas where food, drugs, or good condition goods are exposed. It is strictly prohibited for use in aircraft cabins or commercial livestock premises with automatic misting systems. When applying, users should remove the protective cap from the can and insert it into a device. The device should be set to kill 1 hour before the required time and run for no longer than one hour. Users must avoid spraying directly onto food, dishes, utensils, or food processing equipment. It is also important to keep pets, birds, and fish aquariums covered before application. The product contains petroleum distillate, which can be harmful if absorbed through the skin or if vapors are inhaled.
