Manzate Max is a broad-spectrum protectant fungicide used to control various fungal diseases in a wide range of crops including apples, grapes, vegetables, and cereals. The active ingredient is Mancozeb, which is a coordination product of manganese, zinc, and ethylenebisdithiocarbamate at a concentration of 37.0% (equivalent to 4.0 lbs. active ingredient per gallon). It is used for both ground and aerial applications, as well as through irrigation systems like center-pivot, lateral move, end tow, and traveler irrigation. The product works by providing protective coverage to prevent disease onset. When applying, users should ensure thorough coverage. For ground applications, use sprayers to apply the product at recommended rates based on the specific crop and disease. For aerial applications, follow specific safety and drift management protocols. Handling requires specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, shoes, socks, and chemical-resistant gloves.
