Inflame 280SL is a Group 10 herbicide containing 24.9% glufosinate-ammonium. It is used for the control of various annual and perennial broadleaf weeds, grasses, and some woody plants in crops such as canola, corn, cotton, field, silage, sweet, soybean, sugar beets, and various vegetables. It is also applicable for post-emergence weed control in tree, fruit, nut, vines, berries, and olives. The product works by contact, meaning it only controls the parts of the plant it touches. For best results, use the rate required for the specific weed species being targeted. When using on sugar beets, follow specific rotational crop restrictions, such as a 70-day interval for brassica leafy vegetables and a 180-day interval for all other crops. Users should be aware of resistance management strategies, such as rotating herbicides with different modes of action. Handling requires specific PPE, including long-sleeved clothing, chemical-resistant gloves, and eye protection. Avoid application near water bodies or in areas where surface water runoff may occur.
