Danitol 2.4 EC Spray is an insecticide-miticide used to control various pests including aphids, mites, thrips, and various worm species. The active ingredient is Fenpropathrin (30.9%). It is used on a variety of crops such as barley, berries (blueberry, cranberry, etc.), and low-growing vegetables. The product is intended for outdoor agricultural use via ground application, aerial application, or chemigation/overhead sprinkler systems. Users must be careful to avoid application near aquatic habitats due to high toxicity to fish and aquatic organisms. When handling, wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, chemical-resistant gloves (Barrier Laminate or Viton > 14 mils), shoes plus socks, and protective eyewear.
