Damoil is a dormant and summer spray oil used for pest control on various crops including citrus, stone fruits, pome fruits, nuts, and more. The active ingredient is Mineral oil at 98.0%. It works by controlling a wide range of pests such as scale, aphids, mites, mealybugs, whiteflies, and various larvae by suffocating them. It can be applied as a dormant spray (applied when trees are dormant) or a summer spray. When used as a dormant spray, it should be applied in late winter or early spring. When used as a summer spray, it is applied during the growing season. The product can be used as a tank mix with certain other products, but users must check compatibility. Handling requires personal protective equipment (PPE) including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, chemical-resistant gloves, and shoes. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not apply when temperatures are expected to exceed 85°F (29°C) or if it is likely to rain shortly after application.
