Charger Max ATZ is a restricted-use herbicide designed for weed control in corn, grain sorghum, or forage sorghum. It contains two active ingredients: atrazine (33.0%) and s-metolachlor (26.1%). This product is used to control various annual and broadleaf weeds. It can be applied pre-emergence alone or in tank mixtures with other herbicides, such as Balance or certain combinations with paraquat or glyphosate, following specific label instructions. Application can be done via ground or aerial methods, though aerial application must be done in water only and not diluted in fertilizer. Because it is a restricted-use pesticide, it must only be used by certified applicators or under their direct supervision. Special care must be taken to prevent groundwater and surface water contamination; avoid application near wells, streams, or ditches, and do not apply when heavy rainfall is forecast. When using engineering controls like closed cabs, PPE requirements may be modified.
