Alligare 2,4-D LV 6 is a selective herbicide containing 68.4% 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid, 2-Ethylhexyl Ester. It is designed to control a wide variety of broadleaf weeds and brush in various agricultural crops including corn, small grains, and soybeans (preplant), as well as in non-crop areas such as pastures, rangelands, fencerows, lawns, and rights-of-way. The product is effective against many common weeds like clover, dandelion, and various grasses depending on the application site. For corn and small grains, it can be used as a pre-plant, early post-emergent, or late post-emergent treatment. When used in soybeans, it is applied preplant. Handling requires specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, shoes, socks, chemical-resistant gloves, and chemical-resistant aprons if mixing/loading. Eye protection is required. Users should avoid application during high wind or when temperature inversions exist. Always follow specific dilution and rate instructions based on the target weed and crop type to prevent crop injury.
