SaniDate 16.0 WWT is a peroxyacetic acid-based antimicrobial agent used for controlling bacteria, fungi, clams, oysters, and other aquatic invertebrates. It is specifically formulated for use in manufacturing processes involving paper, pulp, and paperboard, as well as in water systems such as cooling towers, evaporative condensers, air washers, and recirculating water systems. The active ingredients are Hydrogen Peroxide (22.8%) and Peroxyacetic Acid (16.2%). The product can be applied as a continuous feed or via shock dosing depending on the specific water system and infestation level. When used in influent water systems, it helps maintain microbiological control. Users should be aware that the product is corrosive; it must be handled with appropriate personal protective equipment, including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, rubber gloves, and eye protection. It is also important to note that the product is not for use in dietary applications or for direct contact with food/drink. Always follow specific dilution and mixing instructions for the target application to ensure efficacy and safety.
