SaniDate 12.0 is a strong oxidizing agent used for various disinfection and sanitization purposes in agricultural and food processing environments. Its active ingredients are Hydrogen Peroxide (18.5%) and Peroxyacetic Acid (12.0%). It is designed to control a wide range of pathogens, including bacteria, fungi, algae, and slime-forming organisms. Applications include treating irrigation water (both potable and non-potable), sanitizing food contact surfaces, cleaning greenhouse watering systems, and disinfecting produce in processing plants. It can be used for surface spray, injection into irrigation systems, or as a soak. Handling requires significant care: it is corrosive and can cause eye and skin irritation. Technicians must wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, chemical-resistant footwear, gloves, and eye/face protection (goggles or face shields). If used in a spray, a NIOSH-approved respirator with organic vapor cartridges and a particulate filter is required. Always follow specific dilution rates based on the target use, such as irrigation water treatment or surface sanitization, to ensure efficacy and safety.

Worker safety
