AzaSol WSP is a non-oil based, water-soluble powder pesticide containing 6% Azadirachtin as the active ingredient. It is designed for use as a foliar spray to control a wide variety of pests, including various species of caterpillars, beetles, flies, aphids, various leafhoppers, mites, thrips, and whiteflies. The product is versatile, being applicable to greenhouse crops, food crops, brassicas, leafy vegetables, cucurbits, fruiting vegetables, citrus, and ornamental plants. It can also be used on turf grasses and mushrooms. For effective control, it is applied as a foliar spray to the leaves and stems of plants. The label provides specific rate recommendations based on the target pest and application method, such as using 1 to 4 teaspoons per gallon of water depending on the infestation level and specific pest type. When applying to trees, it is recommended to spray the trunk and lower branches. Users should note that the product is effective against both larvae and adults, but timing is critical; for example, spraying early in the spring for certain pests like peach twig borer or citrus leafminer. Handling requires following specific PPE guidelines and observing re-entry intervals. It is important to avoid application during high winds or when rain is expected within 24 hours to ensure efficacy.
