Turficide 400 is a flowable turf fungicide containing 40.0% Pentachloronitrobenzene (PCNB) by weight. It is designed for the prevention and control of certain soil-borne diseases in non-residential turf, such as golf course greens, fairways, sod farms, industrial parks, and professional/college athletic fields. It controls diseases including Brown Patch (Rhizoctonia solani), Dichondra, Anthracnose (Colletotrichum cereali), Melting Out/Leaf Spot, Dollar Spot, and Gray Snow Mold/Pink Snow Mold. Application involves mixing the product with water and applying it to the turf, followed by immediate irrigation with 1/4 inch of water to move the product into the soil thatch layer. For certain diseases like Gray Snow Mold, applications are limited to fall and winter. Users must follow specific resistance management strategies, such as rotating with fungicides from different groups. Note that this product is toxic to fish and aquatic organisms and should not be applied to areas where water is present or to areas subject to flooding. It is prohibited for use on residential lawns, school yards, and parks.

Worker safety
