Envoke® Herbicide is a selective herbicide used for the control of certain broadleaf, sedge, and grass weeds. It is formulated as a wettable granule (WG) containing 75.0% trifloxysulfuron-sodium. This product is designed for use in cotton, sugarcane, transplanted tomato, and fallow seedbeds. It works by inhibiting the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme, which is essential for plant growth. Once applied, susceptible weeds typically turn yellow, red, or purple within a few days, with complete plant death occurring within 1 to 3 weeks depending on weed species and environmental conditions. The herbicide is rain-fast within 3 hours of application. When handling, users must follow specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, waterproof gloves (barrier laminate, butyl rubber, nitrile, neoprene, natural rubber, polyethylene, PVC, or Viton), and shoes plus socks. It is important to avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing, as prolonged contact may cause allergic reactions. Users should also be mindful of environmental hazards, such as preventing runoff into water bodies and managing windblown soil particles.
